Her roles include the films Nerve (2016), Can You Keep a Secret?, and, in voice over, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as Peni Parker; Over the Moon, and My Little Pony: A New Generation, and television’s Orange Is the New Black, The Guest Book, Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas, and in voice over, DuckTales, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Summer Camp Island, Baby Shark’s Big Show!, Centaurworld, and Kiff.

She is the daughter of Sumiko and Mark. In an interview, she stated:

I’m… more German than Scottish. I’m half-Japanese, 25 percent German, 12 percent Scottish, and 12 percent Irish.

Kimiko’s paternal grandfather was Robert Gordon Glenn (the son of Harry G. Glenn and Margaret J. Simon). Robert was born in Ohio.
