July 2024 · 2 minute read

Rising star Omar Rudberg is set to continue his rise to young pop royalty with his latest single ‘HAPPIER’.

The Swedish singer has followed 2022’s debut album OMR with a string of singles this year, racking up millions of streams online as he cements his dreamy pop sound.

‘HAPPIER’ will follow ‘She Fell In Love In The Summer’ and ‘Call Me By Your Name’ as singles this year and the new track is set for release this Friday, June 30.

The star was named as one of CelebMix’s Ones to Watch for 2023 earlier this year.

Fans have little to guess at when it comes to the single’s sound but the announcement comes with the artwork. In the shot, Rudberg towers over the camera with a moody green light in the background.

Earlier this year the 24-year-old released an EP of ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ remixes after the sleeper track found viral fame, as well as his version of The Pointer Sisters smash ‘I’m So Excited’ which was debuted at the QX Gay Gala.

Rudberg is of course best known for his role as Simon on hit Netflix show Young Royals and was recently seen alongside Heartstopper star Kit Connor and pop star Troye Sivan at Paris Fashion Week.
