Nearly a week after the “Lost in Japan” music video dropped, Shawn Mendes announced the “Youth” music video is coming. Mendes is on a roll right now.
The video drops today November 5th, appropriately, the day before the midterm elections. Mendes posted a quote with the caption “VOTE” on his Instagram.
He also released a trailer for the video, which will be available today at 10 am EST on Apple Music.

There’s no word yet if it will be released on YouTube or other platforms, so make sure to subscribe to Apple Music to catch it first.
A youth himself, Mendes is set to feature in the music video with Khalid, who he collaborated with on the song, along with other young people of all ages, skin colors, backgrounds, and abilities, including victims of school shootings.
It is guaranteed to be a tear-jerker and encourage the youth to not only vote, but to stand up for what is right.
The lyric video was previously released, but this is sure to be more impactful.
Mendes and Khalid brought the audience to tears at this year’s Billboard Music Awards when they performed the song with the children of The Marjory Stoneman Douglas choir.

If you want to support Mendes, Khalid, and the youth around the world, purchase a “Youth” hoodie, or t-shirt from his online store. It comes with the album and a portion of the hoodie sale will go to the March for Our Lives organization.
This announcement came the same night that Mendes toom home two EMAs, Live Act and Best Canadian Act.
